We are currently seeking a Marketing Director for our European Hub in Zug, Switzerland to act as a cross-functional brand lead for brands at hub level and identify approaches and innovative solutions in order to maximize the brands potential. This role reports directly to EU Executive Director Marketing Oncology and works closely with the European Medical Lead and the Value Access and Pricing Lead.

Accountabilities

  • Cross-functional leadership of Brand teams
  • Successful execution within overall LCM strategy
  • Develop and execute EU hub Brand Plan
  • Deliver sales, market share, profit and achievement of target metrics
  • Deliver the EU market strategy for new oncology assets in close partnership with Global and NPDLs

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional Brand & pipeline asset plans (T-24) and LRP in line with global guidance and country partnership
  • Bring forward strategic options and recommend choices and key solutions to ELG (European Leadership Team)
  • Provide European input to global marketing and product team on brands and oncology pipeline assets
  • Partner with the European Medical Lead (EML) and Value Access and Pricing lead in the development and execution of the medical programs as well as access/pricing solutions
  • Close collaboration with key markets in Europe – including co-creation on key initiatives and best practice sharing
  • Represent Europe on the Global marketing team platform and ensure effective communication with country stakeholders
  • Actively support affiliate brand teams and participate in country brand performance reviews
  • Manage performance metrics for the assigned brands
  • Collaborate with other key members within the EU Marketing & Innovation team on joint projects
  • Partner with supply chain on developing and implementing innovative solutions in order to supply customers

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Academic education or experience from similar positions
  • >8 years experience in industry
  • 1-3 years experience in pharmaceutical selling
  • >3 years experience as a Product Manager or Sales Manager
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications.
  • Documented marketing management track record of success and product launches
  • Oncology marketing experience
  • Computer skills (MS Office programs)

Preferred Requirements:

  • >5 years experience in a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology company
  • >2 years experience as International Brand Manager
  • Documented experience in launching (or turning around) products within highly competitive therapy areas across multiple countries
  • Significant experience in working within demanding matrix environment (including partnership with supply chain)
